Hosting 80, 150 or 300 people is a different brief from a small team offsite. You need everyone under one roof, a plenary room that genuinely fits, space for breakouts and a kitchen that can feed a crowd brilliantly, three times a day.

Spain was made for big groups. Direct flights land in Barcelona, Madrid, Málaga and Palma from almost everywhere in Europe, the food culture is built around sharing, and long evenings have a way of turning colleagues into friends.
Below are four corporate retreat venues in Spain for large groups of 70 people or more. Each one is in a different part of the country, so you can choose the setting first and the hotel second.

Hotel Camiral sits at the heart of Camiral, a 300-hectare golf and wellness estate in the Girona countryside, about 15 minutes from Girona’s old town and 20 from the Costa Brava. Interiors by Lázaro Rosa-Violán keep it light, modern and calm, and most rooms look out over pine forest or fairways. It’s a natural fit for teams who want fresh air and space, without losing easy access to Barcelona.
🔹 Room to grow:
149 rooms and suites in the main hotel, plus a second hotel and private villas on the same estate if your numbers go up.
🔹 Meeting rooms with a view:
9 rooms with natural daylight, for anything from a 10-person board meeting to a 450-person plenary. The Girona suite seats up to 150 and splits into three breakout rooms.
🔹 A proper reset:
A dedicated wellness centre with a thermal pavilion, plus outdoor pools and walking trails through the forest.
🔹 Sport as team-building:
Two championship golf courses (the Stadium Course will host the 2031 Ryder Cup), with a golf academy that makes it easy for complete beginners to join in.
💡 Fly into Girona if your routes allow it. Spring and autumn are peak golf season here, so lock in your dates early.

The Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Madrid has been one of the city’s grand addresses since 1912, facing the Neptune Fountain and a short walk from the Prado. A two-year restoration, finished in 2025, brought back its famous stained-glass dome and gave the interiors a warm, contemporary feel. For a big group that wants Madrid on the doorstep, few hotels come close.
🔹 Space for the whole company:
20 meeting rooms and the largest event space in central Madrid, with capacity for up to 800 guests.
🔹 Rooms that don’t feel like meeting rooms:
The Neptuno ballroom looks straight out onto the fountain, seats up to 285 and divides with movable panels for breakouts.
🔹 Dinner under the dome:
La Cúpula sits beneath a 1912 glass dome made of 1,875 panes. Follow it with a nightcap at 27 Club, named after the poets who used to drink there.
🔹 Madrid on foot:
The Prado, Retiro Park and the tapas bars of Barrio de las Letras are all walkable, and Atocha station is around a kilometre away for day trips by high-speed train.
💡 Central Madrid has a low-emission zone that limits private vehicles, so book a coach operator who knows the access rules. And plan for late dinners: 21:00 is completely normal.

La Zambra sits in the hills above the Costa del Sol, between Málaga and Marbella, just below the white village of Mijas. Part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, it has a real Andalusian soul: whitewashed courtyards, tall cypress trees, golf courses on its doorstep and the sea about 3 km away. It’s also one of the few hotels on this coast that a large group can take over completely.
🔹 Make it yours:
With 196 rooms and suites, an exclusive buyout is realistic for a large team, so the pool, bar and terraces are yours alone.
🔹 Meetings that flow:
Every event hall is on the ground floor, with daylight, its own entrance and direct access to outdoor space. The largest, Fandango, is 235 m² and holds up to 240 guests.
🔹 A spa worth the name:
Mood Spa has a full water circuit, ideal for recovering after a long day of sessions.
🔹 Something for everyone:
Tennis and padel courts, three pools, golf next door and the beaches of the Costa del Sol a short drive away.
💡 This is one of our favourite winter options. The Costa del Sol stays mild and sunny from November to March, and low-season rates are more open to negotiation.

Cap Vermell Grand Hotel is built like a traditional Mallorcan hilltop village, with honey-coloured buildings, stone lanes and a central square, set in the green Canyamel valley on the island’s quiet northeast coast. It’s five minutes from the beach and a world away from the resort strips.
🔹 Your own village for the week:
142 rooms spread across a terraced hillside, all with a balcony or terrace. At this size, a full buyout is very achievable.
🔹 Meetings with a homely feel:
Instead of a conference wing, the meeting spaces feel like elegant living rooms, plus a 225 m² ballroom for plenaries and gala dinners.
🔹 Food is the headline:
Four restaurants, led by VORO with two Michelin stars. A tasting-menu evening here is the kind of thank-you a team remembers.
🔹 Time to recharge:
The Serenitas spa has seven treatment rooms, there are four outdoor pools and an indoor one, and a country club with tennis courts next door.
💡 Like much of Mallorca, the hotel runs on a seasonal calendar, so check opening dates before anything else. It’s an hour from Palma, so plan arrivals in one or two coach waves rather than taxis.
Hotel Camiral: nature, wellness and sport, an hour from Barcelona.
The Palace, Madrid: big numbers, culture and city energy.
La Zambra: winter sun, a great spa and the whole resort to yourselves.
Cap Vermell: island calm and food your team will talk about for months.
All four can host 70 people or more under one roof. The right fit comes down to when you’re travelling, how your team likes to spend its downtime and the feeling you want people to take home.
